All-Cause Mortality (Age-Adjusted, US Standard Population 2000)

These charts shows the weekly reported age-adjusted mortality using the US Standard Population 2000 for the United States and its states over time.

Mortality is deaths per 100,000 residents. Death numbers are from CDC and yearly population data is from US Census Bureau. Age-adjustment is calculated by using the US Standard Population 2000. The baseline is calculated as the pre-pandemic average of 2015-2019 adjusted for the linear trend (linear regression). The figures are suitable for comparison between states, as they do normalize for differences in age structure, using the US Standard Population 2000 age table.
