UK ONS Updates English Dataset after 1 day
The ONS, hast just corrected two major errors in their dataset.
While working on the data yesterday, I noticed several problems. I have informed ONS via e-mail:
In addition to that, there’s also a discrepancy in the totals between Table 1 and 5, which would make it at least six dedicated problems.
This morning, they’ve responded to me:
They also issued a new dataset, and they’ve added a disclaimer, indicating that they’ve just fixed one of the six problems:
So nothing major has actually changed in the data, except, going from this chart:
… to this chart:
So now it’s as clear as it gets: The excess mortality is rising, while COVID-19 attribution is declining. Therefor the claimed vaccination efficacy by ONS themselves, might simply rely on a statistical fallacy, by under attributing the ‘vaccinated COVID-19 deaths’, and therefore creating the illusion, that less vaccinated people are dying from COVID-19. Instead, they likely die from other causes, which should be investigated!
Sources & Calculations
All calculations are done in the R language and are available open source here.
Thanks for finding their flaws and getting them corrected. Seems things just became worse than they originally reported.
So Correlation does equal causation....if the dataset is accurate😏
